Bell Ribeiro-Addy is a British-Ghanaian Labour MP who has served as a member of the UK Parliament since 2019, first as the MP for Streatham and now as the MP for Clapham & Brixton Hill. She is the current UK Trade Envoy to Ghana, a role she was first appointed to in January of this year.
During her time in Parliament, Bell has advanced campaigns on issues of reparative justice, founding the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Afrikan Reparations. She is also the chair of APPGs for Ethnicity Transplantation and Transfusion, Ghana and Immigration Detention.
Bell has consistently advocated for climate justice and equitable access to sustainable development opportunities across the UK and Africa.
Through her role as Trade Envoy, she has championed green trade partnerships that align economic progress with environmental stewardship.
Her work continues to bridge the gap between policy, people, and planet, amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups.
